Anyone who likes to clean their car themselves knows how much time and energy a really thorough clean takes. Not to mention the many liters of water and various cleaning agents that are usually used for exterior and interior surfaces. How about cleaning an entire car instead with just 2 to 3 liters of water, without any cleaning agents and, above all, as effortlessly as possible? No problem with micro dry steam!
The decisive difference when using so-called saturated steam: under normal ambient pressure, water evaporates at 100°C and wet steam is produced, i.e. steam with a very high water content. However, if the boiling process takes place in a closed system such as a micro dry steam cleaner, higher temperatures and therefore drier steam are achieved. The higher the temperature and pressure, the drier the steam. If the water content is close to zero, this is also referred to as saturated or dry steam.
If only water or very wet steam is used for cleaning, the high surface tension of the water or water droplets prevents an effective cleaning process. To ensure that water can still dissolve dirt, cleaning agents are always used in conventional cleaning to dissolve the surface tension of the water. Instead, the tiny water molecules in micro dry steam no longer have any surface tension and can therefore dissolve and remove dirt without the addition of chemical agents by penetrating even the smallest microstructures. What's more, dry steam can be used on all surfaces, as there is no moisture penetration that could damage textiles or wood, for example.
For a complete cleaning of the vehicle, this means that the bodywork and wheel rims as well as the entire interior, including leather, fabric or Alcantara upholstery, can be cleaned thoroughly and gently with micro-dry steam, while at the same time being completely chemical-free. Another advantage: the automatic thermal disinfection that takes place due to the high temperatures of the micro-dry steam also eliminates unpleasant odors.
