Medeco Cleantec has been honored with the GREEN MONARCH Award 2025. In the Product category, the jury recognized the company's Green Cleaning Concept as an exemplary solution for sustainable cleaning in the hospitality industry. The award ceremony took place on December 3, 2025 at the JW Marriott Berlin as part of the GREEN MONARCH Award Night, embedded in the GreenSign Future Lab.
The GREEN MONARCH Award honors outstanding players from the hotel, catering and product-related services sectors who not only formulate sustainability as a claim, but also put it into practice effectively. In addition to the assessment by an expert jury, the decision was also based on a public vote with more than 23,000 votes.
Sustainable excellence for the hospitality industry
The award puts Medeco Cleantec as a provider of sustainable product solutions in the spotlight of an industry that is facing particular challenges: High hygiene standards, resource efficiency and economic viability must be reconciled. This is precisely where the award-winning Green Cleaning Concept comes in.
Chemical-free cleaning with micro dry steam enables hygienic cleanliness with significantly reduced water consumption, without the use of cleaning chemicals. For hotels and restaurants in particular, this technology offers a practical solution for combining ecological responsibility and operational requirements.
Sustainability that has proven itself in practice
Particularly noteworthy: the close link between sustainability standards and practical implementation is also evident in the hotel category. First place went to the KOOS Hotel & Apartments Munich, which impressed with its holistic sustainability concept. Both the winning hotel and the second and third place in this category (2nd place: Urban Nature, St. Peter-Ording; 3rd place: Hotel Rogen, South Tyrol) are customers of Medeco Cleantec.
The fact that all three award-winning hotels rely on cleaning solutions from Medeco confirms the practicality and relevance of the Green Cleaning Concept in day-to-day operations. Sustainable product solutions have the greatest impact where they are used consistently - and this is precisely what became apparent at the GREEN MONARCH Awards.
